At Sevenoaks Medical Centre, our rheumatology services cover the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of all conditions that affect joints, bones, muscles and tendons.

The conditions we are able to assist with include:

  • Shoulder stiffness or knee discomfort following a sporting injury or unusual exercise
  • Lower back pain
  • Joint swelling
  • Generalised stiffness
  • Inflammatory disorders, such as rheumatoid arthritis and connective tissue disease
  • Osteoporosis

Whatever the condition, it has become clear that earlier diagnosis and treatment can greatly improve the outcome of treatment.

It is now possible to get expert private medical care in Kent without needing to visit London. Allowing a more convenient route to treatment without the need to commute.

We believe that a quicker diagnosis enables a quicker start to treatment, which can aid in achieving a full recovery. To that end, we aim for appointments within a few days in order for you to meet with a consultant.

From there the dedicated consultants and expert staff, including diagnostic technicians and physiotherapists, will plan out the best course of treatment, tailored to your specific needs and goals. Utilising the latest advances in the field of rheumatology, we aim to bring the best possible outcome, a life free from pain and discomfort brought by successful treatment and effective pain management.

If you require any additional information about our rheumatology services or would like to book an appointment with a consultant, please call 01732 775 800 or use our online booking form.
