Dr Jeremy Broadhead

Dr Jeremy Broadhead trained in medicine at Oxford University and the Middlesex Hospital London. He specialised in psychiatry at the Maudsley hospital, London. In 1995 he was appointed a consultant there, working in general adult psychiatry and developing a maternal mental health service.

He has been a clinical director and consultant psychiatrist in Auckland, New Zealand and a psychiatric research fellow at Johns Hopkins University Medical School, Baltimore, USA. His academic research has been in Alzheimer’s disease, and anxiety and mood disorders.

He is now a consultant psychiatrist and the medical director of the Priory Hospital, Hayes Grove, Kent. He is a specialist in adult psychiatric conditions, including particularly the assessment and treatment of anxiety disorders, depression and addictions. He works with a wide range of psychotherapists.

He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
