Dr Gerry Saldanha

Dr G SaldanhaDr Saldanha provides three general neurology clinics per week at Pembury and Kent & Sussex Hospitals.  He assesses and investigates patients with diverse neurological symptoms and signs (including common neurological conditions such as migraine, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis).  He has a particular interest in headache disorders, multiple sclerosis and disorders of the peripheral nerves.  He provides an inpatient consulting service to his local colleagues and helps to look after the regional neurological inpatient beds at King’s College Hospital by being part of the neuroscience attending and on – call system.

As the senior full time neurologist in Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust Dr Saldanha has additional departmental administrative responsibilities.

He is currently Programme Director for Neurology SpR training in the South East of England and is Vice Chair of the Pan London Neurology Specialist Training Committee.  He is also a Specialty Advisor (South) for the Royal College of Physicians and sits on the CPD Committee of the RCP.

Dr Saldanha holds four private clinics a week (Spire Hospital, Tunbridge Wells & Nuffield Hospital, Tunbridge Wells), weekend clinics at Sevenoaks Medical Centre and a fortnightly clinic at Benenden Hospital, Cranbrook, Kent.
