Terence is a Registered Independent Counsellor on the United Kingdom Register of Counsellors and is accredited by the Federation of Drug and Alcohol Professionals.

He has been involved in helping people with drug and alcohol problems for nearly 30 years and was manager of a Priory Hospitals Addiction Unit for over 10 years before going into private practice.

He has appeared on the BBC and local radio stations and has published articles on alcohol misuse.

His MSc is in mental health studies and he holds a diploma in counselling. He works with related mental health problems such as depression and anxiety and is covered by the majority of major health insurance schemes.
